Founder
Turan Karabel
Turan Karabel is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University's Mechanical Engineering program. He conducts educational and academic work in engineering education, aerodynamics, high-speed reactive and non-reactive flows, CFD, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
With more than 5000 hours of teaching experience, he has provided individual, group, and corporate education across undergraduate and graduate courses, AP and IB programs, international university preparation, PhD qualifying preparation, and specialized technical topics.
Alongside his technical and academic work, he is interested in literature, writing, and Latin dancing. This multidisciplinary approach also informs education at Turan Akademi: concepts are not merely communicated but modeled, interpreted, and connected with different ways of thinking.
